Candidates have to pay an application fee, which may vary depending on the category. Payment must be made through a debit card, credit card, or Net banking. Once the payment has been made there is no refund.

  • Fees for candidates in the General/OBC/EWs category will be INR 850 inclusive of taxes.
  • Fees for candidates in SC/ST/PWB category will be INR 175

IBPS PO Selection Process 2023

The candidates will undergo 3 stages of the selection process. The candidates must clear all the IBPS PO 2023 Selection Process stages mentioned below to get recruited.

  1. Preliminary Examination: In the online preliminary examination, the IBPS authority selects candidates for the Mains examination.
  2. Mains Examination: Candidates qualified in this examination will be called for an interview. They must qualify this stage to go to the next stage.
  3. Interview: The Nodal Bank of the respective State/ UT screens the candidates in the interview round.
  4. Final Selection: The combined result of the previous two stages (Mains and Interview) is considered for constructing the final result.
  5. Provisional Allotment: On the official website, a list of provisional allotments for selected candidates will be released.

IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility

Before applying for the examination, candidates must be aware of the IBPS PO 2023 eligibility criteria specified by the authorities in terms of their age, qualifications, experience, etc. The details of the same are given below.

Nationality

A candidate must be either –

  1. A Citizen of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal or
  3. A subject of Bhutan or
  4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,

Note* provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) & (5) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Major Changes

  • Reasoning, English Language & Date Analysis sections will have two section in the IBPS PO mains exam i.e. Section A & Section B.
  • All questions in both the sections will be compulsory to attempt.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

IBPS PO 2023 Interview Process

  • Candidates qualifying for the mains examination will be called for a face-to-face interview. The interview has a weightage of 100 marks and candidates must score a minimum of 40% to clear the personal interview round.
  • The time duration of the interview will be 15-20 minutes where candidates will be asked questions based on current affairs, basic economy, banking sector, as well as general knowledge.
  • Merit list will be made based on the marks secured in mains and interviews with a ratio of 80:20. According to the vacancies available the candidates will be chosen for provisional allotment to one of the banks.
