  • Nationality: An aspirant must be an Indian citizen.

SSC CGL Exam

The full form of SSC CGL exam is Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam. It is one of the most popular SSC exams for graduates. There are two tiers in SSC CGL exam that need to be cleared by the candidates to get recruited into Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in various Government departments. Both tier 1 and tier 2 are Computer-Based Tests (CBT) to assess the knowledge of candidates in various domains like Mathematics, English, General Studies, Reasoning, Current Affairs, etc. Tier 2 is further divided into 3 phases- Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.

Paper 1 is compulsory for all the posts, whereas, Paper 2 and 3 are mandatory for the candidates who applied for Junior Statistical Officer and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer respectively. Those who will clear all the stages will be called for a skill test which can be a Data Entry Speed Test or Computer Proficiency Test depending on the post for which you have applied.

SSC Stenographer Exam

SSC Stenographer is a competitive entrance exam conducted on a national level by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates for Grade C and Grade D jobs. SSC invites candidates for recruitment in a general Central Service Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Non-Gazetted post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments in different States and Union Territories. SSC Stenographer exam 2023 is tentatively scheduled to be held in October/November 2023, for which the notification is expected to be out on 02 August 2023.

SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Exam

The board also conducts the SSC exam for Delhi Police Head Constable for which the notification will be released soon. It is conducted separately for Ministerial level and Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO) posts. Candidates who have cleared Grade 12 from a recognized board and are willing to join as a Head Constable in the Delhi Police department can apply for this SSC exam before the last date.

SSC JHT Exam

SSC JHT is an abbreviation of Staff Selection Commission Junior Hindi Translator Exam. It is conducted to recruit candidates for the Junior Hindi Translators or Senior Translators in different government departments and ministries. The officials will release the notification for SSC exam of Junior Hindi Translator on 22 August 2023 and paper 1 is slated to be held in October/November 2023.

IB ACIO Exam

IB ACIO is a graduate-level examination conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The full form of IB ACIO in the Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. As per the latest updates by the Union Cabinet, CET (Common Eligibility Test) will be the new module for all non-gazetted posts (Group B and C) under SSC and Railway recruitment exams. CET SSC and Railway exams for Tier 1 stage will now be conducted by the NRA (National Recruitment Agency). This CET score will be valid for the next 3 years, however, the other stages of selection such as Tier 2, Tier 3, etc will be conducted by the exam categories only.

SSC Exam Syllabus

The major sections covered under the SSC syllabus are the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness for Tier I examination. While for Tier II, most of the exams are a combination of CBT and skill tests. SSC Exam Syllabus for CGL

Almost all SSC exams share a similar syllabus for Tier 1 exam, but the difficulty level of questions might vary as per the education qualification needed for that particular exam. SSC CGL syllabus is divided into two Tiers having four subjects in each. SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process [Revised]

 

 

SSC CGL 2023 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:

 

 

1.1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature)

 

 

1.2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

 

 

  •  
    • All candidates who have applied successfully for SSC CGL exam, will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Card for appearing in the Computer Based Examination (Tier-I).

 

 

    • Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.

 

 

    • Separate cut-offs will be released separately for Paper-II of Tier-II (i.e. for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Paper-III of Tier-II (i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper-I of Tier-II (i.e. for all other posts).

 

 

    • Tier-II Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.

 

 

    • In Tier-II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I, II and Paper-III. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer will be required to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III respectively.

SSC CGL 2023 Admit Card 

 

 

The admit card for each stage will be released followed by the release of the application status. SSC CGL Admit Cards are released on the respective regional website for which the candidate has applied for. The candidates can download their SSC CGL Hall Ticket using their registration number and password generated at the time of the registration process. 

 

 

SSC CGL 2023 Result

 

 

Staff Selection Commission releases results for each stage on the official website www.ssc.nic.in. This year, there will be 2 tier selection process and Tier 1 would be qualifying in nature. SSC CGL Tier 1 Result will be released announcing the names & roll numbers of the candidates qualifying to appear for the Tier 2 Exam. SSC CHSL Exam

SSC CHSL exam stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level exam, which is a national level exam conducted to recruit students who have cleared higher secondary (12th passed) into different government departments, offices, and ministries for posts like Data Entry Operator, Sorting Assistants, Junior Secretariat Assistant, LDC, etc. For the recruitment cycle of 2022-23, the SSC CHSL exam notification was released on 06 December 2022 and the exam took place from 09 to 21 March 2023. The commission will begin the recruitment cycle for 2023 from May onwards.

As per the latest SSC exam calendar, the commission is all set to release the SSC CHSL exam notification on 09 May 2023 along with the apply online link. The last date to apply for SSC exam will be 08 June 2023, tentatively. Tier 1 will take place in July or August 2023.

 

SSC CPO Exam

Those who want to join the Police force can check the SSC CPO exam notification which will be released on 20 July 2023. The full form of SSC CPO is Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization. The SSC CPO exam 2023 is tentatively scheduled for October 2023. There will be two online tests to test the basic knowledge of candidates followed by a Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates can be placed in the following departments if they clear the SSC CPO exam: Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CAPFs, etc.

SSC GD Constable Exam

SSC GD stands for Staff Selection Commission General Duty exam. This recruitment drive is conducted by SSC and developed by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to recruit eligible candidates for the General Duty Constable post in the para-military forces. It consists of 3 stages that candidates need to clear to get the job they always dreamt of. These stages are Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST) followed by document verification. The notification for the same has been released on 27 October 2022 and the SSC exam dates for GD Constable were 10 January to 14 February 2023.

SSC MTS Exam

SSC MTS exam is conducted by the Commission every year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Multitasking Staff (MTS) in various central government departments, offices, and ministries. This year, the SSC MTS exam notification is to be out on 17 January 2023 which provides candidates with all the information related to the upcoming SSC exam for MTS Tier 1 which is scheduled to take place from 02 to 19 May 2023.
